Assist FM Conference 2023
Disciplines:
Branding, Web Design, Event Management, Social Media
Brief
For over 20 years, Totalize Media has worked with Assist FM, a public sector facilities management organisation made up of all 32 Scottish Local Authorities, and Suppliers. The primary objectives of the Assist FM Conference are to discuss emerging methods, showcase innovative products and services, and participate in stimulating seminars aimed at enhancing Scotland's public sector. After a year of recovery in 2022, Assist wished to explore a theme of looking into the future in 2023, delving into topics such as the industry's trajectory, self-service advancements, and technological innovations among others.
Process
Showing future innovations that haven’t yet been fully realised was an abstract challenge that we decided to play with. The theme came alive through a fusion of retro style and archival photography, enhanced by vibrant and funky gradients, drawing inspiration from retrowave graphics and retro-future imagery similar to those seen commonly in the 50’s and 60’s. The theme was applied to various media formats, including social campaigns, banner stands, name badges, PowerPoint presentations, and screen visuals.
Outcomes
With a unique identity that attracted over 50 exhibitors, 250 council delegates and industry leaders, through thoughtful planning and execution, we created a dynamic environment that fostered collaboration, learning, and inspiration for all participants. By catering to the varied interests and backgrounds of our audience, we wanted to ensure that every individual found value and meaningful engagement throughout the event.
