Brief
Initially tasked with recreating a single fudge box design, our brief evolved into a wholesale makeover with one simple task: Helping Ochil Fudge find their voice, and making sure that voice was heard like never before. Like we said... simple!
Process
Extensive research revealed that the majority of competing brands pushed tradition, hand-me-down recipes and national pride. Not wanting to follow the crowd down the twee, Scot's grannies recipe fudge path, we repositioned Ochil Fudge as a modern, inviting, experimental brand that flips tradition on its head. We crafted unique illustrations of the surrounding Ochil Hills and use these extensively on packaging and digital media, helping to bring a taste of Stirlingshire to sweet tooths everywhere.
Outcomes
The rebrand helped carve out a nice slice of the market for Ochil Fudge, breathing life into the brand and helping distance them from a homogenised market in the UK. In real terms, the rebrand and marketing fueled a year on year 5x increase in sales, 3x increase in conversion rates and a year on year doubling of organic Facebook reach, interaction and followers.
